As of right now, the next ICGC 40k tournament will go on Saturday, May 29th. If this conflicts with anybodys schedule, let me know now before I start getting everything set up so we can find a better date. Rules to follow in the next month or so.
FYI, there will be a single model painting competition (Small or medium, no monstrous creatures or vehicles). That gives you two months to get painting!

Single model painting competition, eh?
Any idea on how it will be graded?

Your paint job will be graded by your peers. Everybody will get a critque sheet and rank the entries (you will not rank your own). The scores from everybodys sheets will be totaled up and the results drawn from that.

I spent about 5 hours on my mini so far. Now i have to ask... is this painting only? Or a display? Like if I make him stand on something on his base.. i mean are bases graded? Or the models paint? What about modifications to the model?
So many questions, so much time.

One of the rankings will be "overall appearance" which will obviously take your base into effect.
Modifications are allowed as long as the base model is a 40k model.

Is there a particular Genre? Does it have to be 40k?Oh and what constitutes a medium model. Should we check with you for confirmation?

Why do you even care Steve? You and your pups are going to be hiding in NY cause they know that my Iron Warriors are going to take this Tourny. I guess i should start painting. I can't let Tim and Eric duke it out for this painting competition.

As of now nick and steve will be missing this one, maybe get with them and see if we can do it earlier? An off week in may wouldn't be bad if it's needed.

Yeah and they didn't do so hot. I guess my CSM are going to have to run the tables again. As long as nobody brings Doom then it's anybodies tourny.

Well Andrew will be running it, so you'll have to worry about Larry and possibly Brian's Alienids.
