Ran into this while rereading the DE codex and wanted to apologize to my opponents from the last tournament. I think the only game truly effected was the BA/tau game, but thankfully they won regardless. I digress:
Turns out the archons 2+ invul goes away as soon as he fails it once. Looks like he would have died alot quicker...
Once again, I apologize for not reading my dex as well as I should have.

Ah yes that is true, it was the same in the last codex. 2++ is great, even if it does go away when you fail it.

no big on our end, all is well that ends well I guess. Does the other piece of equipment that makes the clones do the same? or does it keep working after the first hit?

The clone gear lets you ignore D3 hits per round (assault). Never fails. Honestly, the 2++ is much better in my opinion.
