For the rest of this month, I've got Daughters of the Flame and High Exemplar Gravius (mounted and unmounted) primed and ready to go. If by some miracle I manage to finish all of these, Intercessor Kreoss and the Vengers are being assembled as we speak!

Wow, I feel kinda.... I think I'm posting too much? No one else wants to post anything? Anyway, here he is, in his mounted and unmounted glory, High Exemplar Gravius! Wait...What's that behind Graivus? Oh it's just Snapjaw. I'm starting to throw a couple of my Gators in on the painting docket, so I know that he's not worth any points, but just wanted to share his swampy glory! Hey, DTB, what's that Snapjaw's standing on? Bwa-hahahaha!

So after finally being able to get my druids and a couple other models put together I made the mistake of using some old primer (grey) and chalked all of them up. I then attempted to go ahead and get some base coats down, because I didn't think it would be that bad, but it was pretty bad. Needless they all went in the dunk tank and got stripped yesterday. So most likely I'll be playing 25 points with some unpainted models this weekend.

Excellent work on Gravus, Koala. Be sure to use him when you play against Circe. This JML is only half-way finished, but it seems some participants are shaking in fear before the might of the Trollbloods. Come on Skorne, Retribution, Khador! Don`t be afraid! Hahahahaha...Do you want my Trolls to take it easy on you? I finished the Trollblood Slugger unit; an often maligned and complained about unit within Trollbloods. I admit, they look pretty weak on paper. But, I`ll give them their chance on the battlefield this weekend. Attachments:

Was able to get some unpainted models based and available for play yesterday. Namely the Circle Druids, UA, Wilder, and a single Blackclad. Will do my best to get some of that painted before the next meet, but I won't guarantee anything.
Seeing the progress of Koala and DTB, the models look absolutley amazing from both these players. Great job guys, keep up the good work.
I was able to get some pinning work done yesterday on DTB's Dozer and Smigg so hopefully he'll be able to get that guy painted up before the next meet as well.
Plenty of games were played yesterday with about 4 matches going down as well as a huge 50 point battle between Koala and DTB, practice for the Japan Open, which is a measely 6 weeks away!!! Practice is paramount people!
End standings for month 3 of the Japan Journeyman League 2014 are as follows:
1. Koala 54 points 2. Twitch 43 points 3. DTB 40 points 4. Le 17 points 5. Masukawa 11 points 6. Kaji 10 points 7. Gannon 54 points
We've just hit the half way point, and things are still going strong. I'd really like to see some more painting get done, so let's all put our goals for this month in and try to meet them. Good luck everyone and see you in a month!

Woo! Yesterday was a lot of fun, and all the games were nail biters! This month, I'm hoping to beat last months painting goal, so today I started on the Exemplar Vengers!

Indeed, many fun games! Last weekend I also got a few games in (desperately trying to keep pace with Koala)...but just to warn everyone: I`ve got reinforcements on the way. Behold - Dozer and Smigg! I hope to have them painted by the next time we meet! DTB Attachments:

A quick update for those that are taking part in the JL14:
Koala still leads the pack with an over all score 0f 62 points. She's promised to get some more painting in this month though, so I'm sure we'll see an increase of those points by quite a bit here soon.
DTB shores up right behind her getting in plenty of games to recover from the loss of painting points. He's following up with a total score of 56.
Twitch has missed the last couple of meetings so no update from him, his last count was at 43 points.
Torgrinn has made a valiant effort in catching up, with 19 points, he may just beat Twitch to the number three spot if he tries hard enough.
Masukawa and Kaji have both missed meetings as well, with no update their counts are at 11 and 10 respectively.
Sadly, our first real casualty of war has been suffered. Le has withdrawn from the JL, and will hopefully return after the league and tournament scene have died down a bit.
Gannon, although not counting for points, has brought in an even total of 60 points so far. Will he become the new leader next month? We'll just have to wait and find out.
We'll see you all next month, on the 12th for the Japan Open 2014 50 pt Steamroller Tournament, the 13th of October, will be open gaming at the same location (Fukuyama). The 26th will see us in Hiroshima for the monthly meeting, and November marks the last month of the Journeyman League. Last day to be determined.

I made some really great progress yesterday on the Stone Ape getting down a majority of the stone and runes along with some of the wood portions of the model started. Still a long way to go, but hopefully I'll have him finished by the next meeting in Saijo.
