Download it for free to your smart device now. Keep in mind the main function of this program is a rules reference. You get the Prime and Primal model rules for free as well as reference and army lists (for the Prime and Primal models) availability.
There has been quite a bit of negative feedback due to peoples' expectations being very high and comparing it to Wickens old iBodger. Keep in mind the app has been out to the public for mass use only two days and there will be bugs (I've all ready found a couple). If you do find one, report it to Tinker House Games, and it will promptly be fixed.
If you download it at a wi-fi hub, ensure to access the program and set up your account, otherwise you won't be able to get the updates, which are vital to the success of this app.
I'll give my first impressions once I get to mess with it a little bit more, but as a note, things look very good to me. I did purchase all the decks for $60, less than half of what I would have paid for all the physical decks.
Whoever does download it, lets get together this weekend and test out the online gaming capabilities. I'm anxious to see how streamlined the use of an iPad or other smart device will be in actual games.
One last note, this app is sanctioned by Privateer Press and will be valid as a medium for keeping track of damage and usage for reference during all official games, tournaments, and events. I do recommend bringing cards as a back up should the charge on your device fail, or some other disaster happen, otherwise, according to Privateer Press you will forfeit the game.
