Unfortunately I'll be in Sasebo this weekend, so I won't be at the meeting.
Fortunately (for me) that gives me more time to paint stuff before I see you all next time. I'm going to be trying to get all my Cygnar complete before the August 4th meet. I'm at 80% now.
Good luck to all and give us an event report when you all get done with the gaming.

Aww, that sucks. Hopefully we'll have more pics with the event report.

Hey, if we got a Subway Sandwich platter, who would chip in?

Okay so due to my trip being cancelled, I was able to make it. I had a good day, getting in some good time painting. With that extra time, I should be able to finish my Stormwall by the next meeting, which apparently many will be missing from.
No matter.
I was able to get a game in with Talus. It was a very hard fought battle of 25 points. Talus fielded his new Caster Vayle1 and I ran Stryker1. This game came down to the last bits of our forces. What an attrition game. In the end, I was able to knock Vayle down with an Earthquake spell and shoot her, getting a roll of damage that was just enough to kill her. Great game Talus, I must say it was the most fun playing WM/H that I've had in a very long time.

Would have loved to have been there but I was waiting at the terminal to head home about the time you guys kicked off.
Still here though!
I'll figure out how to get things rolling so we can roll the Firestorm campaign along here.

Aside from my game with Gannon, Chagear and Duomaxwell had a great game too. A little SR 2012, controlling flags and zones. It was a long, hard fought game, but in the end, Chagear came away with a Victory. I read the scoring rules wrong, but it's only my second SR game, cut me some slack!
For those who weren't paying attention, there was a game going on in a far corner of the room, Cards Against Humanity. A fun game, for those of us (myself included) with sick, sick senses of humor. It's a lot of fun! perhaps on off game days we could get together and play a few games.
Unfortunately, the next game day there will be a few of us who cannot attend because of a trip to Tokyo, but the room will still be available. Unless we want to either pump it up or move it back a weekend. I leave that up to you all.
Next time, more of my awesome recounting of the gameday... my brain was just fried this time, especially with work they way it is... but we all know how that goes.
