---[Classified]---The mission is as follows; a small force has been dispatched with multiple objectives that will gather information and resources for upcoming offensive actions.---
---Your force is small and mobile. Its contents are able to think on their own and act as the unit commander deems fit to accomplish the objectives. It is known that other enemy teams maybe operating in the objective areas as well. For the greater glory of our cause you must succeed commander.---
(for the races with out individuality - the force was sent and you obey)
Rules:
#Army must have 3 painted colors, I don't care if the base is brown, model black, and head white: just get it done!#
+Bring 10 dollars in ones, that is the entry fee+
--250 points is the army max. Must have one unit of Infantry, Jump Infantry, Calvary, Bike, or Jet-bike (not one of each, just one of these, and it does not have to be a troop choice, can be any type so long as it is a unit). These units can capture objectives, as well as independent characters of the same types (though they do not fill this requirement).
*To clarify; vehicles, beasts, walkers, monstrous creatures, and swarms may not capture objectives, but could destroy them as destruction is simply damaging the objective (if it can be destroyed)*
NOTE: How a unit captures an objective depends on the mission. A unit inside of a transport may not (in some cases) automatically capture the objective it is sitting on. More will be told as the event progresses, this is the surprise factor!
-Special or unique characters are not allowed.
{TIP} Kill teams are mobile and flexible. Every race has the ability to do this given the easy build conditions. A big model with lots of power may seem like a good idea, but a kill team has to be able to get out of dodge too.
The games will be quick, so be prepared to move fast! Read your rule books and know your lists. There will be no sportsmanship scoring, but I (the TO)will be around; if you are unsure on a rule or situation feel free to ask, but don't abuse this privilege. If you act without sportsmanship in mind or take a disproportionate amount of time with your turns (force composition taken into account) then you maybe given a warning or a card. THE CARDS ARE A BAD THING AND I DON'T WANT TO GIVE OUT ANY - SO DO THE RIGHT THING AND PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY. Fun competition is the key, never give up and remember that victory come to those who keep their eyes on the prize.
Victory Points are awarded for capturing or destroying objectives, elimination of opposing kill teams, survival of your kill team, and completion of mission goals.
The winner is the person with the most Victory Points at the end of the event.
NOTE: I am not doing a painting competition as the notice for this event is so soon. It will take place before the second meeting in DEC (preferably in NOV). The exact time will be up to the club to vote on.
If you have any further questions post here, PM me here, call me at this number (08031751225), or come talk to me (use number to set up time and place). More as the event develops, so keep in touch.
