Hey, I can honestly say I pooped a brick when I saw this folder, I myself have been trying to organized several RPG's on base here with some people in my unit, but it's always hard to kick things off.
My name is Jason, and I am a Motor T Operator here on base, for anyone interested in knowing. I have been on Iwakuni for about a year and some change now, it's been okay.
I write campaign settings as kind of an off-shoot hobby. I use to play War-hammer as well as Warlords, but it's been quite a while and I don't have a set anymore.
I am currently working on two big projects, one for D20 Modern, and one for World of Darkness. I also play Magic too, I guess I am just all over the place.
Well, Can't wait to here from you guys and game sometime soon, until then.

I got a pretty good modset for d20 Modern done up by SweetSoulbro from /tg/. Makes the gunplay a bit more fatal and realistic and a majority of his hundreds of pages is devoted to weapons and their accessories.

Hi Jason, Welcome to the club and a belated welcome to the area. Good to hear from you on the forums. This is the main place to check for gaming events that are going on for Iwakuni. Not a lot of activity going on right now due to most of our members being deployed, but they're slowly trickling back in from Kadena so we should see a jump in forum use.
I (Eric) am the local Press Ganger here and run games of both Warmachine and 40k regularly, with a splash of different skirmish and board games mixed in there.
We actually had a meeting this past Saturday in which about 4 of us got together and played some Warhammer 40k and did some modeling/painting.
The RPG scene for the group is small but they are currently in a Shadow Run campaign (run by GIrene) also the 40K RPG has been run before along with some D&D.
Being all over the place is a good thing with this group because we all do a little of everything. Keep an eye on the news ticker for updated dates of meetings and meeting places. We don't have a static building that is available for use for the club, so we use the community rooms located in the Towers. I'll have the info up for the next meeting today or tomorrow some time. Once again welcome, and we hope to see you at our next gathering of minds.

Thanks for the warm welcome, actually. GIrene I would love to take a look at that rule set, sounds like it could be a big improvement.
Can't wait till the next meet-up.

I'm seriously down for whatever. I'm in the process of running premades for either Pathfinder (I have several of the adventure paths) for D&D 3.5 (I have all or a good portion of the premades for that.) I'm rusty on DMing, but will gladly play just about anything.

Jason, I've had your Cryx stuff in for about a month now man, shoot me a PM or email me back so we can set up a pick up date. This would be a great time to get in on the Journeyman League that we've just started!
