Club officer volunteer/elections

Gentlemen,
With the recent loss of 2 of our club officers and another with one foot out the door, it is time for volunteers to step up to the plate and get some time in the new leadership positions for the club. This will coincide with a slight restructure of club procedures and rules. Currently there are two open spots, Vice President (Chaplain) and Secretary (Librarian). The third position, Treasurer (Apothecary), is currently filled by Andrew who will be leaving shortly.
Please see the responsibilities below and post if you are interested. If there are multiple applicants for a position there will be a club election voted for by the members. Volunteers have one week to respond, after which if there are any elections needed they will take place for the following week. In the interest of fairness, I will also open the position of President (Captain) which I currently fill.
Final announcement will be next Wednesday (8 June, 2011) for uncontested positions and the week afterwards (15 June, 2011) for contested positions. If you cannot dedicate yourself to the role, please do not volunteer. There is not a lot of work, but when you are needed you must provide your support. Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you all.

Captain-Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Fill leadership role when Chaplain is not present
-Fills lower leadership roles should any other officer not be present
-Resolves conflicts within club
-Demo and introductory games
-Schedules Officers Council meetings
-Organizes official club days
-Sets club goal for each year

Chaplain-Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Fill leadership role when Captain is not present
-Fills lower leadership roles should any other officer not be present
-Demo and introductory games
-Resolves conflicts within club
-Verifies club fund accuracy

Librarian-Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Fills leadership role should Captain or Chaplain not be present
-Work on ICGC online content and Facebook page
-Flyer distribution and recruitment
-Resolves conflicts within the club
-New member induction/processing
-Member meetings roll call/meeting recording
-Appeals to gaming companies for support

Apothecary-Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Fills leadership role should Librarian not be present
-Management of Club Fund
-Purchasing of Club Terrain
-Party planning and development
-Tournament Organizer support
-Resolves conflicts within the club
-Supports Librarian in appeals to gaming companies.

I would take Apothecary, but being in the Bks means that I have no 'real' security of goods and possessions. I'll be around, but if my stuff gets taken/trashed that is MY problem. If Club stuff is trashed then everyone's problem and I can't let that happen. Crazier stuff has been known to happen. Unless someone thinks I would make a good Vice, I got nothing to offer so long as I am in the Bks (halfway house).

Chagear is that a volunteer for Vice/Chaplain? If so then I can post up the poll. I'll keep the Treasurer/Apothecary position open until someone feels they can fill the position. Remember that Treasurer deals with money so if you don't have a good history with money or it burns a hole in your pocket please save the club some grief and don't volunteer. Thanks guys!

I won't be here for a bit because of a Det to Kadena Starting at the end of July, but I can take the role of Apothecary. I'm so cheap I squeak, and if you ask my wife she'll tell you I can be a tight-ass about money sometimes. I don't live in a barracks, and my place is already used as gaming spot of sorts, so security is not an issue.

Due to my lack of time left in iwakuni I will be backing down from my position. However given that, I would like to second Chagear for that place.

I will need more skull helm for this, though I do seem to have my own sort of Rosarius. Now about that Crozius Arcanum...
