Silver Spray Paint, Anyone? (now pics)

Hiyas,

No I am not going to spray paint my Templars, I would never do such a thing, ever. I absolutely love the way they have evolved and I am personally very satisfied in the way they came out.

However, that does not mean I have not been hard at work painting Grey Knights this week. I waited to see the new GW color scheme before I made a decision on the painting technique I was going to use.

I attempted to match the blades that they painted, but with GW paint it was near impossible for me. So I went with the same colors, just faded from dark bottom to light top. Also, I dont like the red beneath the letters on the models. I like the solid gold just like the codex cover.

Anywho, cant wait to give them a whirl.

If you can get a hold of it you'll probably want the Vallejo line of Metal Medium. It's a highlight to any silver and give it a metallic white color. A light coat of 4:1 water/badab black may help your plight as well. Good luck and keep us informed on your progress.

lol. Nah, its about 480 pts. 10 Terminators, 8 with Str 5 Storm Bolters, 2 with Str 7 AP4 Rending Psycannons. Some have halberds and strike at Init 6. All come equipped with Frag/Krak/Psyco grenades.

These are the classic Terminators. I have 5 of the regular Marines as well... I will get that pic up eventually. Plus I am going to paint one of my eight land raiders (I really only have 4) Silver here soon as well.

Thinking about Rhinos and Razorbacks for this army as well.

Now wait just a minute, did you say Terminators armed with Frag and Krak Grenades? Cheese and rice! I'll take Orks against that any day though. Don't really care about S5 Storm bolters or S7 AP4 Psycannons, we don't get a save against any of it!
