The glory children of the Blood Bowl days of past, the Elven Teams are considered a cheaper choice for those that like Elf teams. Don't confuse these guys with High Elves, High Elves are a completely different team. Given the base cost of their 0-16 slot you can imagine the type of players you'll be fielding during your first league. Not to say that the Elves are bad. With an all around agility of 4 they can sure move. Let's get into the list details:
Elf Linemen- This 0-16 choice gives you a Movement 6 Armor 7 player with an agility of 4. He's obviously going to be your most picked player and with a Strength of 3 he's average to say the least. Coming in at 60,000 GP he's your cheapest player you can field. The usual General, Agility, Strength and Passing skills apply to this player.
Elf Throwers- Here's a great choice for the team and a good one to max out the 0-2 slot. His 70,000 GP price tag gives you a lineman with the Pass skill. To those that don't know, Passing is an Elfs game. If you want a player with a higher than normal skill choice this is your player with General, Agility, and Passing being available on normal rolls. A roll of doubles is going to give you a Strength Skill.
Elf Catchers- Catchers come in at a hefty price of 100k GP. These guys are great at what they do and come with the Catch and Nerves of Steel skills. This is going to almost guarantee that if you throw to these guys, they're going to catch the ball. Their Movement value of 8 means that these guys are going to really move the ball once they get it. Base standard elf Strength 3, Agility 4 and AV 7 apply. Skills include the GASP grouping. If you haven't figured it out by now that's Genreal, Agility, Strength, and Passing.
Elf Blitzers- What Can I say. Blood Bowl is a Blitzers sport. At 110k they're the most expensive player on the Elf roster, but come with two very good skills: Block and Side Step. With a starting skill set like this he's going to do very well against just about any opponent. It's also going to allow you to pick which square your Blitzer is pushed to, which can be a very good thing. Their AV of8 is also the highest for the Elf team. GASP applies for this player as well.
Re-Rolls cost 50k which is about average for BB teams.
