All right chummers, with much badgering from Martinez, I've found myself willing to reignite my Shadowrun 4th Edition campaign and naturally I'll be looking for players. Interested parties feel free to post up and ask questions. If you are newbs to how shadowrunning here it is in DnD terms:
Looking forward to running you through the shadows.
I think we can hash dates and such after I nab some interested parties. If you know anyone interested feel free to drop 'em a line. I'm looking for about 4-6 players. I'm a newb myself sorta, haven't run SR4 in about 3-4 years so I'll be relearning everything.
I'll probably be running something "pre-packaged" to get reacquainted with how a run is supposed to go and then I'll hook it up with a campaign I had started back in the day:
Dexie is an Ork Fixer. He's one of the rising stars in Seattle when it comes to Fixers, he's got connections all over the place from mid-level Johnsons down to the Ork Underground. The only problem is Dexie will be quick to trust anyone completely, even strangers. Despite this the three Shadowrun teams he fixes seem to like him enough to keep an eye out for him and to do favors for free. Your main fixer, "Lightning" Laducci has just went to ground and has left you with a street address and map to a warehouse in Auburn, with instructions to meet Dexie after midnight. You get this feeling you may not want to go, but something else makes you wanna find out what this Ork is all about...

OK, so you know how dragons have enough money to buy a small nation? Imagine if they used that money to actually do things, rather than just sleep on it. A dragon buys a ton of wool, uses fabricate to make clothes, and sells them to the nearest kingdom, turning a profit. Well, shit, with the right spells, a dragon can basically get it so he's the sole supplier of clothes, food, etc, for a city. And he has kobolds who can do some of the work for him, like going out and getting the supplies, or roughing up the competition. Except it turns out the competition is another dragon, with the same damn plan. The two don't just duke it out, because if they die, they lose everything. So they hire adventurers to go fuck with the other dragon. The problem: The nation the dragon lives in is totally dominated, so the law is on the dragon's side. Now, you are the adventurers, the kobolds have submachine guns, and there are 10 different dragons. Try not to die."
Looking forward to running you through the shadows.
