Hey ima bout to start my Space Marine Army and i need a good color scheme(besidesUltra Marines) also i want to look like they are battle hardeend so thanks for any suggestions ;D

seriously though what chapter of sm are you doing? there alot of paint scemes out there or just do colors you like.
not sure if it can be imported here but BolterandChainswords has a flash program that you can chose colors for your a marine so see how they look against each other. teh color arent exactly like reality but they are close.

yeah that little program works pretty good. I always liked Celestial Lions. And they have a great back story too. If I hadn't worked so hard on my Ultras, I would have done Celestial Lions. Down with the Inquisition!

I think simple contrasts work best. If you can make it this weekend, there should be 4 or 5 armies. Plus I have the "How to Paint Space Marines' book from GW if you want to take a gander.

Imperial Fist would be a good choice. I hear that lysannder is a beast.

Imperial Fists are not a good choice for a first time player. Yellow is one of the Hardest colors to pull off without it looking like puke. Although with the new Iyanden Yellow base I heard it's a lot easier to paint yellow, although it's a little darker. Lysander is a beast though.
