This taken from 40K Radio forums. Source sat in on a GW Marketing meeting.
Basic overview news: GW is moving to full plastics, that is right people, no more medal models somewhere on the horizen, more on this later.
June
June is Fantasy and War of the Rings Month
They are releasing the new War of the Rings battle system, turning Lord of the Rings from a skirmish game to a war game. The poster race is the Elves and the models look sweet. Will definiately have to think about starting in on this.
Plastic Empire: As a precussor to thier all plastic policy, the Empire army is going to be the first army to be all plastic, this includes with the release of new Empire Archer, greatswords and a massively customizable Steam Tank kit. The question of price was raised about a price drop in the tank since it was moving from metal to plastic, the answer is no. Especially since there is going to be massive bitz in the kit.
July - Planetstrike
Along with the book and the terrain we have seen they are releasing the Ironclad dread which made an appearence at GD. There is also going to be a limited release of blast craters markers (5 distinct vareities), a resin pack for mines and booby traps (like the ones they did for CoD) and a huge skull temple scenery piece.
The landspeeder storm is also to be released this month.
They are also releasing a large combo pack called the Imperial Stronghold, which like the Imperial Sector form CoD, this set includes two Bastions and three aegis walls, I will have a full report once my store gets this in (late june).
For the rules on the Planetstrike supplement, the rumours are true, including the fact that the buidlings can have weapons and can fight back.
August - Empire and Tanks
Finally in August, Planetary Empires, the 40K version of Mighty Empires is going to be released, it works almost identical to Mighty Empires.
Also released is the Citidel How to Paint Tank, basically like the How to Paint Space Marine book they released earlier.
Also two tanks Kits are to be released, the Hellhound and the Demolisher.
The Hellhound kit will have to parts to build all three varients (hellhound, devil-dog, chem-dog)
The Demolisher is also a tri kit, giving you the parts to build the demolisher, punisher, and exticuntor.
