The big difference for me? GW swings the IP hammer wayyyy to hard and wayyyy to often. I understand that you have a company to protect, but to shut down fan sites? Cmon now... Ah see, here I have to disagree with you to a certain point Andrew. I agree with most of their IP defense suits/warnings. Everyone knows that you're not supposed to name your website eldradthefarseer.com or warhammer40000.com. It's just common sense. These are properties that are owned by GW and if they don't defend themselves then the vultures will flock so to say. Other issues such as the Chapterhouse studios suit, don't sit as well with me. Chapter House pushes the envelope without quite going too far. CH makes some good stuff, and have recently put out some amazing items, that GW does not release models/parts for. I do believe if GW started to produce a model that CH was making (such as the warlock/farseer bikers or Tyranid Bonesword sprues) then CH would stop making that item. If it's a part of a model that GW doesn't make (as a set, or whole), then go for it.
